Learning to Fall

Learning to Fall

A rock musican afflicted by ALS brings together a choir of ALS-affected singers to record an inspiring song.

Veteran rock musicians Lowen & Navarro bring together the ALS/caregiver community in Southern California to help record the title track off their new album. In the Southern California recording studio, they raised their voices as a choir to sing “Learning to Fall.” Together with singer/songwriter Eric Lowen (co-writer of Pat Benatar’s 1984 smash hit “We Belong”), each member of the gathering has been profoundly effected by ALS–a progressive, neurodegenerative illness (popularly known as Lou Gehrig’s disease), for which there is no known cure. KarmaTube showcases this emotionally powerful, surprisingly upbeat video chronicle of their day.
