Adventures in Equal Parenting
Addressing the hurdles of raising children in the 21st century, New York Times videographers offer this profile of a New York couple who employ what they call ESP (no, they don’t read each other’s thoughts) – Equally Shared Parenting. Working as “equal bread winners” professionally, they also look to split parental responsibilities straight down the middle – from laundry to story time – in hopes of creating “a sense of stability and calmness” for their two young children. Accompanied by a print magazine story and lively blog.
